A lot of people ask me ‘So what does a blogger’s day involve’?  ‘What does a Product Stylist/Social Media Influencer do?  Well today I thought I’d share a day in my life as The Stylist Splash.

A typical day would involve an early morning run and getting my three kids off the school.  Most days I go the gym, so my working day starts anywhere from 9.00am to 11.00am depending on my workload.  I will check my PO Box and visit the newsagent to source new inspiration from my favorite magazines.

A site visit to the Salt&Pepper warehouse where I was shown the latest products that are going to hit the stores soon, was what I did the other day.  Working with big brands is fun as you get to see what’s coming before most people do.

A pit stop at my favourite place The Cupcake Queens where I was able to pick up a coffee and sweet treats.  I felt so spoilt and very appreciative of my gifted cupcakes and coffee.

Most days my PO Box is filled with parcels of generous brands gifting items for me to style and share. Just like this Little Louli linen for Archer’s room.  It felt so soft but yet still crisp like good cotton should.  Archer loves it when I change his room around and the donuts were a cute surprise.

Styling vignettes for brands to share on the blog or on instagram is what I love doing as well.  Here is vignette of beautiful items that I loved styling.

Most afternoons I spend at my computer, checking emails, following up with PR agencies that I am working with and of course, writing the blog posts.  I also try and find time to do the boring mundane accountancy side of my business too like invoicing.

Once 3.00pm hits I find it hard to work anymore as it’s back to being a Mum.  School, bus stop and train station for pickups and then driving them to their after school activities and jobs.  Pony club, swimming lessons and soccer.

So there you go, a day in my life.  How about you?  How do you juggle work, family etc?
