We have just finished two weeks of school holidays here in Melbourne.  The weather was terrible and a lot of time was spent indoors trying to keep kids busy.  My older 2 teens had busy agendas with friends and working but over all it was good to take a break from our regular routine.

We had lots of soup for dinner.  Easy and quick and it warmed us all up as the weather really turned nasty and cold.

I’m running the half marathon on the 24th July for Run Melbourne and I cannot wait.

A brief moment the sun did come out.

I still managed to squeeze in a few hours of work whilst the kids were home.

We went out for lots of hot chocolates and afternoon tea.

Speaking of lights, we had to have them on during the day as the days were so dark and gloomy.  But that’s Winter in Melbourne.

I think I have an obsession with pink pots.
