Life Instyle is Australia’s premium boutique trade event that showcases products and brands on the cooler side of style and design and it’s on now in Melbourne at the Royal Exhibition Building.
Today I thought I’d showcase a few awesome brands that have caught my eye. There is so much to take in if you visit Life Instyle. Over four days, retailers, buyers, interior designers and media gather to celebrate Australian retail with over 600 brands all unveiling their latest creations first to the design industry.

With so much to take in, here’s my brand watch for Life Instyle Melbourne.
Taylored Dots
Donna Taylor is a self taught, Creative Illustrator behind Taylored Dots. Donna has a unique talent for a drawing technique known as ‘stippling’ and you only have to look at her artwork to appreciate the time and effort in each piece. One brand to watch that’s for sure.
Elm Paper
A stationery label with a modern fresh edge and a favourite of mine for it’s classic appeal and foil accents. Elm Paper is stylish and tactile, with a distinctly flair, they do beautiful paper to write and create everlasting memories.
Essence Noosa
Wholly Australian made deliciousness these luxurious soaps, sensuous creams and aromatic hand poured soy candles use all natural plant-based ingredients. Designer packaging all hand wrapped with huge love from Noosa. Well worth a look at, I love the packaging.
Lavallier Emporium
Lavallier is inspired by vintage ceramic. They love ornate and love using sourced vintage home wares and recreating them into porcelain function wears. A must see as the wares are handmade in a small studio in Melbourne, Australia. I adore the colours too.
BEHR & CO.
Creative Director Breanne Raffoul is passionate about producing pieces for your home that will last a lifetime, in both design and quality. The Melbourne-based, B E H R & C O work closely with master artisans in Australia and Europe, to bring sophisticated and statement style to the discerning home decorator. I adore anything marble and this is right on trend at the moment.
Emma Kate Co
Emma Kate Co is a stationery + lifestyle brand, blog, and love story between words, images + play. They are a small business making days all over the planet – for customers, virtual visitors, creative clients, and everyone in between. Gorgeous products with heart-crafted brush strokes + splashes of bright colour, I do love everything about this brand.
