With Spring truly upon us and with the days getting longer, it’s about this time we think about a revamp of our interiors, a new project or setting up some new goals.  There are a lot of cool things to share today that will hopefully get you inspired to do just that.

The latest homewares collection from Hunting for George encapsulates all that we love about Summer. It’s relaxed, nostalgic and has a comforting simplicity.

The collection titled Clifton is named after a sleepy coastal town in Tasmania where Hunting for George co-founders and sisters spent their childhood summers. You can shop this collection here.

Build for a Cure’ is a fundraising campaign in the Newcastle region.  A house has been built from the ground up in just 21 days! Everything including the land, trades and materials has been donated by local businesses raising funds to go towards lifesaving research to find safer treatments and ultimately a cure for childhood cancer. You can see the house below.

Drawing inspiration from the affluent seaside region, the essence of the Southampton style is about creating sophisticated but relaxed spaces, echoing the timeless elegance of a luxurious seaside manor. A modern take on the style is reflected through cool neutral shades paired with greys, soft greens and inky blues for a light and airy colour palette.

Brought to life in Metricon’s new Bayville display home, Senior Interior Designer, Jacinta Evans, says the architectural style is epitomised by natural light, clean lines and flowing, open spaces designed to mimic the relaxed feel of the beach.
