I was inspired by a tear sheet that I had collected from a Home Beautiful magazine.

The light shades that I have put up in the kitchen are actually waste paper bins from Ikea.  Yes that is right, bins!

What an awesome idea and so effective.  I copied the design idea but I used the $9.99 bin.

We already had the baton lights wired so it was as simple as hanging the shade instantly.  You could even spray the bin in any colour to bring a pop of brightness to your space.  It was well worth the trip to Ikea.
