On the weekend I visited Matt Blatt. For those of you not familiar with this Australian owned store let me tell you a little bit about it. Matt Blatt is a design emporium, a store full of bright, fantastic and new furniture. I visited the Fitzroy store and it was packed bursting at the seams full of design goodness for me to explore. Ready to snap a million pictures, I’ve narrowed it down to just my favourites today, but I encourage you all to visit a store and you will see what I mean. So much colour…
I was drawn to this gorgeous rug and the Replica Eames DSW side chair. I instantly fell in love. There is a chair in this store for almost every purpose and environment. Dining, desk, relaxation or just occasional, you’ll find it here.
Here are some standouts that I loved.
The Replica Eames DCW was one of my favourites. It looked amazing amongst all the colour, a real showpiece and would look good in any dining room.
Simple, sophisticated and elegant. I am drawn to black at the moment and these Replica Kai Kristiansen ‘Kai’ dining chairs in leather are just divine.
I am also looking for bedside tables for the Master bedroom at my place. The Fritz Danish Design bedside table was a lovely design and put this one on my short list.
There was so much to look at. Every nook, cranny and corner was filled with colour and design. A true emporium.
From artwork to cushions, couches to soft toys, you’ll find it at Matt Blatt.
There are stores located Australia wide you can find your nearest store here.
Here are a few more items that I’ve got my eye on. From the quirky to the unusual to cute and colourful. There was so much to love at Matt Blatt.
Happy Shopping! Anything you liked?
Great colours! I popped into Jimmy Possums in Bendigo, sadly a retiring/ closing down sale. This company has always been a favourite of mine with a terrific range of vivid colours and patterns they will be missed.
I loved all the colour, it was amazing. What a shame about Jimmy Possums closing down in Bendigo. It is sad when Australian companies that employ Australian’s don’t do well. Thanks for stopping by Suzy.
