If you’ve been following along on Instagram then you’ll know that I’ve just completed an extension/renovation of my master bedroom.  After 6 months ( because hubby is building it) we are finally in.  The last trade to have at the house was the carpet guys to install the carpet.

I was so excited at the idea that I could finally move into my new master bedroom.

I don’t know about you, but when I renovate or extend my house I like to get new stuff?  You know like linen, lighting, throws and art work, but I’ll talk about that in another post.

So when Godfreys asked me to test drive the Hoover Zoom Upright Vacuum I was thrilled.  After all, new carpet deserves a new vacuum right?

So after the install of the carpet I unpacked the vacuum and recharged the battery which didn’t take long at all.

So what did I think?

I thought I’d start off with a few of the features that I really liked about the Hoover.

  1. It was lightweight.  I have weak wrists and the Hoover Zoom was light weight and easy to push.
  2. The Hoover Zoom is controlled using wireless technology meaning less weight and greater manoeuvrability.
  3. There was a boost mode which provided a higher suction.  This was great as the new carpet had bits of fluff everywhere and it was easily sucked up.
  4. It was a little bit fancy with LED lights to help see under furniture.
  5. The Hoover Zoom was cordless – yay!
  6. It has a large dust bag that is disposable which I find better than bag less vacuums.

We are so happy with the way our master bedroom has turned out.  It’s just all about the finishing touches now.

Here I am vacuuming away.  I love how new carpet leaves vacuum marks.  If only it stayed that way.  I had the same carpet put in as it meets with the existing part of the house.

Now I can sit back and enjoy this room.  We are now working on our walk in robe.  We are always renovating but it is lots of fun.

The Hoover Zoom Upright Vacuum retails for $799 from Godfreys.
