I am known over on Instagram for my love of colour and the colours that I use in my home.  But, every now and again I like to pare it all back and keep it simple.  I like to keep my kitchen clear, uncluttered with not much colour.  So here is a bit of simplicity at my place as well as some inspiring interiors that I know you’ll love.   I even want to get rid of all the colour in my bedroom and just have muted tones with maybe some pastel accents.  Oh no, I get these ideas in my head, I can see a mini project coming on.  5 things5_opt

A sweet vignette at my place.  I waited for this bird’s nest for months.  I watched and waited and when the mother and baby bird hadn’t been back for about 4 weeks I took it.  It’s such a beautiful piece.  Make sure you spray a birds nest with fly or insect spray to kill any mites that might be living in the nest.

In my kitchen, I keep it fairly simple and uncluttered.  I work better this way.

I put happy vignettes in my kitchen to lift the space.  I like to use wood against the all the white to warm it up.

I am in love with hanging plants at the moment.  I pulled this from my garden and thought it looked pretty in my hanging pot.

Here are some more simple interior pictures that I gather inspiration from.  I hope you like them to.

1) I adore this rug and pared back look.  Simple and elegant.

2) Simple styling in this gorgeous bedroom.

3) I adore this uncluttered dining space.

4) I love these copper containers and vase from H & M.

5) Even this picture wall is simple but so so interesting.  I love the faux fur on the bench too.

What style are you loving at the moment?  Or are you like me and you like to mix things up all the time?
