It was all about setting up for Christmas this week. We decorated the house and the kids even had Christmas decorations in their bedrooms. So much fun.
I completed my first visual merchandising job. A Christmas window for my client Raw Element in Drummond Street Carlton. I handmade the tree from paper mache and then stuck polystyrene balls covered in wool and painted to resemble hair. I sprayed some hair clips gold and I also made the star out of gold hair clips from the salon.
The base of the tree is an old paint tin covered in bark to resemble a log. The tree was then elevated and I wrapped faux presents to put underneath. You can view more pics here.
I picked up a new coffee table from Freedom and enjoyed some time on my own whilst everyone was out.
I also went to Ikea and picked up the Ribba frames for my limited edition Castle and Things tea towels.
Melbourne gave us some lovely sunny warm days.
I started to bake and prepare Christmas presents for all the get togethers we have coming up. You can find this recipe for the Seeded Crackers and Caramelised relish here.
My Confetti days watermelon Lovestar vase came. I love this vase so much, it really adds colour and brightens up my white kitchen.
And in case you missed it, I made it to this months Adore Magazine in the Blog Loving section. I was so excited to be part of this wonderful Christmas edition.
We put up our Christmas tree. I covered mine with tassels, you can view the tutorial here.
Hope you had a wonderful week and are getting organised for Christmas.
