Can you believe that Winter is almost here? I really love this time of year though, you get to snuggle up with blankets and throws and add layers to your couches and beds. I adore the colour palettes out this season. Autumn Winter decorating is all about soft pastels, light greys, navy and monochrome, so many colours to choose from to see you through the colder months.
In the bedroom I have added some warmth and texture with this gorgeous Quincy Throw from Freedom. Stick to a neutral base and add colour through art, cushions and throws. Neutrals this season are soft greys, pastels hues and blonde timbers.
Soft pastels and a warm sheepskin throw in white make my lounge room inviting and warm. The Winter sun comes through and warms up this room making it such a nice place for a cup of tea.
Add some gold or copper in accessories to add some interest.
My cushions are from Rapee and my gold tea cup and plates are by Robert Gordon.
I had a recent visit to Freedom and fell in love with this accessories wall.
Monochrome is the star in this room. Greys, blacks and whites all work well together. Add some greenery to give the eye a break and add some life to this colour scheme.
Marble in all shapes and forms. Marble side tables, trivets and canisters look great this season and are right on trend.

I also adore Nordic trends for this Autumn Winter. Blonde timbers, cool blues and lots of luscious layering make this bedroom so inviting.
