Decorating my home, beautifully wrapped presents and a real deal Xmas tree, that smells amazing throughout my home x
I love the ritual of Christmas. Putting up the tree with my kids. Hanging our advent calendar. Wrapping the presents. Building the excitement. And I still love to send cards with a handwritten note because it is often the only non-electronic mail people get all year! My kids have written their own cards since they first learned to write and it is a ritual I plan to preserve.
The smiles and excitement on the chuldrens faces when we deliver our home baked shortbread to our family and neighbours is priceless and for me, the spirit of Christmas!
Wow! What beautiful stationery, and great features on Aussie products!
Christmas to us is all about being together and laughing. Being jolly like Santa!
Christmas is fun and exciting because of my children. My pre-schooler and I are counting the sleeps till Christmas already. I think we may put up the tree this weekend!!
I love the sunshine, hot weather and spending quality time with family. We celebrate 6 family birthdays over the festive season, so its always a fun time with lots of BBQ’s, cake and leftovers!!
I love family, bbqs, plum pudding with my Grandma’s famous Brandy Sauce, christmas lights and general magic! Thanks for a great comp with beautiful prizes

Hello! Christmas is all about giving thoughtfully and catching up with friends and family.
Christmas to me is all about spending time with family and friends
What I love the most about Christmas is that this one tiny day brings my family together…it’s like that moth being drawn to the proverbial flame- we all must stop and make the effort to come together; I love that my dad, a grown man, gets giddy while I unwrap my present from him; I love that my mum spends several painstaking days prior to prepare a moist turkey brined in juniper berries with prune-stuffed apples; I love my brother and sister play monopoly or back yard cricket and get stitches from being so full of food. Over the years I’ve had a Christmas with my Husbands side- and although it took me a few hours to get used to the boiled eggs covered in mayonnaise (not sure what festive tradition that harps back to!) and the pre made stuffed chicken roll (no brined turkey??), I still got swamped with the same family love that I get from my own. I’ve often thought I would love a snow- laden Christmas, but then nostalgia sets in and I want to keep everything the way it is: summer sun beating down, air conditioning running, bathing in whatever water is near, and the delight of others opening your present when you have hit the nail on the head, followed by the child-like inner tantrum that all the presents are unwrapped! Finally, I love that I do not have to hold any obligatory conversations like an adult; I can simply slip into a food coma or watch the token DVD bought by someone as a stuffing filler. LOVE CHRISTMAS!
What do I love about Christmas? I love decorating the Christmas tree. I love to act like a kid by guessing what my husband has bought for me by feeling and prodding the presents. I love seeing the reaction of others opening up my present I have bought them. I love the amazing food we get to eat! Most of all I love spending time with family and friends.
Everything!!!
It’s such a magical time of year; I love everything about it. Coming together as a family to celebrate is just so special, better than any gift in the world.
I love the smell of Christmas and the memories they trigger of previous Christmases. The smell of comestics and perfumes is always associate with opening gifts, the scent of hot plastic pool toys and salt water reminds of riding pool ponies on Christmas Day as a kid. The smell of leftover Christmas ham in a toastie reminds of me beloved Pop who always stay with us over the holidays and this was his speciality. The smell of hot Christmas dinner and the warmest associated with entering Mum and Dads house.
I love that christmas is all about friends, family, happiness, lots of yummy food, present wrapping and card writing. It’s a time full of love, joy and cheery christmas spirit. Its a magical time of year. Plus I can’t lie…. the time off work is a bonus!
I love decorating my home, having a new colour theme each year. I love to create lovely door wreaths and table centres. I love wrapping the gifts and preparing the menu. But most of all, I love having all my family over on Christmas Day, sharing a meal and just being together.
I love the delight of Christmas magic as the kids open their presents with squeals of delight. A very special day for all.
That magical time of year that Family come back together for a amazing Christmas eve, morning, fabulous meal and amazing gift giving! Sitting around a house full of decorations and gifts just shows the importance of family and out children
what do I love about Christmas. Where do I start…… I would say the number one thing is that is just make you and everyone around you feel good. Good food, great company and smiles all around.
I love Christmas! The music, the decorations, the cooking and the festive spirit. I love getting together with family and our little traditions, like the coins in the Christmas puddding and singing carols round the piano. But I’m looking forward to a particularly special Christmas this year – my baby’s first Christmas 🙂
I love the food and new presents- and as a male I love the Boxing Day Test !
