Designer Rugs often collaborates with world renowned Australian designers, and excitingly, Designer Rugs has just unveiled a stunning new collaboration collection with designer Petrina Turner, NEW AGAIN by Petrina Turner Design.

This collection features four hand tufted rugs that reference family memories and crafts handed down through generations.

Petrina Turner’s collaboration with Designer Rugs is a full circle moment, perfectly fitting for someone who holds tightly to the places and people that have influenced her life.  I adore the bright colours these rugs would bring to any interiors modern, classic or contemporary.

‘The Queen MAVIS is a reminder of our tight knit family’ says Petrina.

This rug was inspired by Petrina’s grandmother Evelyn’s intricately crocheted doily.  She says ‘I wanted to give new life to her beautiful handwork’.  Isn’t this rug amazing.  I love the pattern and shape, it’s so different to a traditional rug.
