Can you believe it’s that time of year already? Wasn’t it Christmas just yesterday? Easter is such a lovely time of the year. Automatically the seasons change and the temperature drops. Autumn is such a magical time of year. I particularly love Easter and styling the Easter table. It really doesn’t have to be expensive or complicated.
I’ve collaborated with Target to share just how easy it is to style an Easter table. Yep, good old Target and boy did they have some great affordable pieces. I wanted to include some key pieces that I could use through out my house all year round too.
I could not go past these rose gold rabbits. How adorable are they and are only $15.00 each.
I also found a white rabbit and these cute Bunny bowls. The set of two was only $10.00 and I think they look great filled with dutch carrots and marshmallows. I picked up the Lisa T paper bag for $12.00 and filled it with Cadbury Crunch eggs, all available at Target.
The kids could hardly resist eating the props but I promised they could eat the eggs after the photo shoot.
I kept my colour palette fairly neutral. I love pastel colours which are still in fashion for the season. These speckled eggs not only look great but at $5.00 each I could not resist. The felt grey placemats tie in with the pastel theme too.
So styling your easter table doesn’t have to be over complicated or expensive. I have added some roses and Easter daisy as well as some fallen Autumn leaves which made a great centrepiece.
Add some fresh hot cross buns and light some candles and your table is done.
