Happy New Year everyone!  Thought I’d check in for the first time this year to wish you all a fabulous new year.  I have seriously slipped into holiday mode and are enjoying some much needed relaxation and down time.  We had a lovely Christmas and New Year’s Eve spent with family and friends and are really not looking forward to getting back to routine.  With a few weeks left in the holidays I have managed to squeeze another holiday down the beach before the kids go back to school and we cannot wait.

I made this fruit platter to share at Christmas.  The cute toothpicks were from Mr and Mrs Jones at Chadstone.

I am slowly getting to my emails and will reply to everyone this week (I promise).

We have all enjoyed lots and lots and lots of sleep ins.hny4_opt

Mum gave all the girls in the family these gorgeous cupcake soaps handmade by a lady at the Mornington markets down on the Mornington Peninsula.  They smell soooooooo good.

Olivia and I shopped in the city a few days after the Boxing Day sales.  I picked up a few bargains like this Zimmerman skirt and 2 pairs of Rubi Shoes sandals for $20!

We had a BBQ dinner and swim New Years Eve and the weather was perfect.  I picked up the 2017 sign from BIG W along with the typical sparklers and glow in the dark jewellery that the kids love.  There was hardly room to swim with all the pool toys.

Melbourne has had some scorching hot days.  Olivia loves her Sunnylife drink flask and I think it is so cute too.

I have dined out so much these holidays and it’s been so nice not to have to cook dinner.  This picture was taken when Bren and I went on a lunch date.  It was just the two of us and it was so nice.

How’s your year been so far?

Are you still on holidays?
