1.  Add cushions in your favourite hues.  Try to make sure they belong to the same colour group like bolds or soft pastels.  Here I have used a few of my favourites from the Rapee Fantasia range.

2.  Look at what’s around you. In my outdoor room I have used a palette of blues to tie in with the blue pool interior.  It feels beachy and summery all year round.  Have fun with your colour palette and use what you love.

3.  If you are really unsure about colour, add some metallic to a monochrome palette.  This gold spotty cushion from Country Road pops out from the black, grey and white tones used here on the couch.

4.  I love pink in my home.  My picture gallery wall has splashes of my favourite hue, just en0ugh to not over do it.  Be subtle and not over the top.

5. Add colour with cushions, pots and prints.  These are easily changeable as the trends change.  This is a fun way to add some colour to your home without it being to overwhelming.

I hope these ideas have given you some inspiration to have fun with some colour.  All photos styled and shot my The Stylist Splash.
