With three kids aged 4 years to 13 years my floors end up with all sorts of grit and dirt on them.

I absolutely hate pulling out my conventional vacuum cleaner, plugging it in and the cord only allowing me to vacuum half the house, grrrr.  So when Bissell kindly gifted the AirRAM cordless vacuum cleaner (yes that’s right cordless) I was very eager to start using it.

The first time charge up was 4 hours so after unpacking the AirRAM I charged it up ready to use.

Its compact size meant charging it could be done in the laundry or any small space. Let me tell you that size did not compromise power.

When it was switched on I quickly realised that the AirRAM was going to be easy to use.  A lot easier than my old heavy corded vac.

This vacuum had the most powerful suction and easily vacuumed tiles, floorboards, carpet and rugs and you didn’t need to switch or push buttons to go to and from the different surfaces.  It powered along, sucking up all the grit and dirt from my floors (believe me there was quite a bit).  In no time at all I had vacuumed the whole house without once having once to stop and plug in an annoying cord.

I loved that it was cordless.

Look how easily the AirRAM can be stored, this is in my pantry.  It was light weight and so compact.

My older kids can start helping out with the vacuuming now.

It worked so well on my rugs, sucking up all bits of grit and dirt.  When I opening the filter, I was shocked to see what had been sucked up – eek!!!!

So, my verdict is I loved it and at $399.00 RRP I really think that the AirRAM represents excellent value.

Here’s a bit about the specifications but any other information can be obtained from the lovely people at Bissell (click here).
