We had such a fantastic holiday last week. Just the five of us in Noosa QLD Australia. It was great to get away to some warmer weather, relaxation and get away from the everyday routine. I had lots of queries over on Instagram about where I stayed with my kids and what we did? I did some Noosa house stalking and here is the holiday edition.
We stayed at the RACV Noosa resort. The accommodation was perfect for us and I’d say perfect for all families, whether you have big kids or little kids. Just to let you know this is not a sponsored post.
We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment. The master bedroom had a king size bed and huge ensuite with double vanities and spa bath. The other 2 bedrooms had 2 singles and 1 bedroom had a king size bed for my older son.
It was extremely clean with Miele appliances and stone bench tops, very high quality. We had 2 living areas, both with TV’s, our own plunge pool ( that we didn’t use) and a remote controlled garage for the car we hired.
The kids loved the pool areas, with water slides, squirting water guns and the other pool ( there are two) has it’s own beach area so you don’t even have to go to the beach if you don’t want to. The best thing is you can order drinks ( alcoholic if you like) and food pool side and they deliver it to you. They also have a wood fired pizza oven and it was delicious!
Even the foyer was lovely. I loved these lights. There is a fine dining restaurant or you can relax in Dazza’s bar if you want to be more casual. I have dined at both and the food is amazing. There is also a kids club so everyone is taken care of.
We ventured off to Dreamworld for a day. Here is Archer with an oversized goanna. He loved it there. It is a 2 1/2 hours drive from Noosa though just so you know. I had pre booked the tickets on line so we didn’t have to queue to get in.
We hired a boat to go fishing along the Noosa River but I was more interested in the real estate. Wow is all I will say, some of the houses were amazing. We’ve thought about hiring a boat in Sydney to do the same. I love looking at real estate, especially houses on the water.
I asked Bren to buy this one for me, I’m not fussy.
My favourite house along the river for sure.
This house was huge and was on a corner of the river.
Another favorite was this house with the pool at the front.
So if you want to get away somewhere really family friendly, then I would highly recommend Noosa. I am seriously considering rebooking to go back again this year as the kids loved it so much. My kids are all different ages 6, 13, 15 so it can be hard to please everyone. The shopping is great in Hastings street too with the additions of Mimco, Seed and Witchery since I last visited.
Have you been to Noosa?
Hi Yvette. we have visited Noosa since our girls were very young (now 27 and 29 and have always loved it. Our only quick getaway escape for a week. Last year our daughters surprised my husband and I with a week at RACV Noosa also. First time we stayed there and loved it too. Love Noosa beaches, National Park, food, shops and real estate. Glad you had a great family break.
Hi Wendy
