Time strapped birthday cakes often turn out the best. This is Olivia’s birthday cake. I just put 2 Betty Crocker packet cakes together and iced them both. Stuck on a few freckles on the top and sides and made the little bunting flags from washi tape and 2 straws.
It tasted delicious and everyone was happy, What a great outcome. Just so you know this was not a sponsored post.

Looks yummy! I often use the home brand vanilla packet mixes for my girls cakes, I find they hold up really well for cutting into shapes and icing and are light and fluffy. My favourite was my youngest daughters fifth birthday at the start of the year when I made a pink ombré cake!
