The lovely owners of Raw Element in Melbourne’s leafy inner suburb of Carlton asked me if I would like to create their Christmas window this year. Of course I jumped at the chance and this is what I created.

The idea of a cone shaped tree covered in coloured balls came to mind. The tree had to incorporate the hair salon in some way. I wrapped each individual ball in wool to resemble hair and painted each one. I used hair clips from the salon and painted them gold to stick on the tree and also created the star from these as well. I had so much fun.
