After a very long school holidays and let me be honest, it was a very long school holidays this Winter I have finally had a chance to get back to my blog and share what’s new this week.  There are so many lovely things that I had to put them all in one post so grab a cuppa and enjoy.

As you may have heard, Megan Gale’s first venture into homewares design will be available at Target and it’s a collection she’s been working on designing since 2013.

The collection is focused on the bedroom and bathroom and is inspired by some of the world’s most stunning cities that she’s visited during her travels, from Santorini through to London, Paris and New York. Check it out and see what you think.

During the week I was gifted the most beautiful wrapping paper, gift tags and cards from Rachel Kennedy Designs.

As a hard-working mum of two little girls, Rachel’s life on Sydney’s Northern Beaches is one that resonates with many Australian mums and families – as she makes her way through the world raising a young family and nurturing a growing a business that offers love, light and inspiration to everyone’s lives.  Here are some more examples of Rachel Kennedy Designs.

During the week, I was reminded about the importance of keeping content original and giving credit to people’s pictures and artwork where credit’s due.

Using hashtags on Instagram to create awareness #createdontimitate #createsguidetocopyright and tagging in @creativemindshq to share this important message.  Get on board if you can.

There seems to be not much etiquette when it comes to business’s on Instagram either.  I am finding more and more business’s jumping on my Instagram post to  comment and share their business website and promote themselves.  Don’t you find that rude?  Especially when my picture does not involve them at all.

To finish on a lighter and more colourful note, here are some cute products from Dr Bronner’s that I received this week.

Hows your week been?
