Yes, it’s always time to switch things up in your home. Unless of course you have recently gone through a complete renovation of every single room in your home, then there is definitely going to be some room for improvements here and there. We know how easy it is for some things to become worn out or outdated, especially when you think about how quick the world is modernising, and how easy it is for your children to go around scribbling on every single wall they can like it’s a blank canvas. So, if you want to have a little bit of a shake up of your home, but you’re just not sure how you should go about doing it, then follow our advice, and see if we can help you to switch things up in your home, modernise it, and make it something you can actually be proud of!

Spend Your Time Outdoors

Ok, so it is no secret that our beautiful country is heating up just a little bit now, so why not put your focus on the outdoors, rather than thinking about the inside of your home. Before long, the garden is the only place we’ll want to be, so you might as well make it a little paradise. The most modern look that we’re loving is a big decking area extending from patio doors, with an awning coming over the top that is retractable. Let it drop down onto the grass where you can then make it a haven for your children to play on. Make sure you’re using grass seeds, and keeping the edges filled with beautiful plants. As for the decking area, you make it a place of comfort by putting in nicely padded furniture! Just make sure the focus of your garden is to relax and enjoy the sun. The retractable awning will help to keep your furniture dry when you the rain does eventually come round again.

Bright & Colourful

Back to the inside of the home, and it’s time to think about making things bright and colourful. We get to enjoy some beautiful sun most of the year, but when the heat comes with it too, the bright indoor design will help to keep the home fresh and cool. White walls mixed in with blue turquoise features is such a great colour combo for a bright yet colourful home. You can also get affordable custom curtains for the outside to make sure that you’ve got that darkness whenever you need it. Shutters can help to keep the home even cooler by keeping that intense heat out, so it might be worth investing in some!

A Luxurious Bedroom/Bathroom Combo

You’ve most likely got an en-suite bedroom, so you need to make the combination a killer if you want to actually enjoy the environment. For the bedroom, we suggest you go for the white and grey colour scheme. It’s dark yet bright, and super on trend! It doesn’t seem to be budging. You could then renovate your bathroom and go for a grey stone look. It’s something a little different to use, especially if you actually use real stone or rock!
