Well it’s almost the weekend again? Today’s post is a bit more visual and really just sharing my love of the good old weatherboard. There’s something about weatherboards, whether it’s their warmth homey feel they give, their classic style or their magnificent street presence. Love them or hate them, they are here to stay and the real estate market show’s that a renovated weatherboard will fetch a higher price than an ordinary brick home. So it’s fair to say that lot’s of people love a weatherboard.

I love the black feature fencing on this home. It really makes the white house pop.

Here is my house I’ve lived in for over 16 years. We just keep renovating to accommodate for our family needs. That’s what I love about weatherboards too.

So do you love a weatherboard as much as I do?
I’ve often been known to stop mid run to snap a beautiful weatherboard. You can follow along here to see if I spot any this weekend. For more inspiration, follow my pin board here.
I share your love for weatherboard homes! When we decided to knock down our house and re-build, one thing I was certain on was the way the façade should look and that it needed to be weatherboards! x
