How delighted would you be to receive these hand painted envelopes in the mail.
I receive lovely mail from my followers over on Instagram and when I saw these hand painted envelopes from Hello Sandwich blog I thought how special they would be to send off to someone.
Here are some other designs. You wouldn’t want to throw them away. How special are they?
The art of handwriting a letter, let alone hand painting an envelope seems to be fading away. With today’s instant messaging, fewer people send cards and letters by mail.

Have you received some snail mail lately? Or have you posted a handwritten letter or made a card?
Here is my version.
It sure beats getting bills in the mail.
Beautiful, Yvette. Shows such effort to take the time out. I’m sure the recipients will really appreciate it
Thanks so much for your lovely comments, I couldn’t resist sharing the gorgeous envelopes and how clever some people are.

Yes…bring back snail mail!!!! I was once a big letter writer but since having children I no longer have the time to write that 20 page letter…let alone get to the post office! So I email but I do so love receiving mail and those cards and envelopes you have found are gorgeous. I love Chantelle from Fat Mum Slim’s Scatter Love project- such a nice simple way to just post a card to a friend for no reason at all but to just share the love x Thanks Yvette x
I know Kylie, it is all about time and that we don’t find the time to sit down and send letters. It really is easier to text. I always make a point of hand writing my Christmas cards, at least I make an effort once a year
