On the weekend, I have a little more time to prepare breakfast and make it special.

My kids seem to be so tired at the moment (bring on school holidays).  My daughter was completely exhausted so I made her breakfast in bed.

I made her a batch of toast hearts.

I simply cut out love heart shapes from plain old toast.  Spread her favourite toppings on (jam and Nutella).

So simple and cute.  I let her have breakfast in bed.  She was so grateful and happy.  A small bottle of her favourite juice and she said it was the perfect breakfast.  Not hard at all to make but so easy to make someone start the day smiling.
