After sharing a picture on the weekend of my salted caramel smoothie bowl I had so many requests for the recipe. So rather than try and type it out on my phone I thought I’d share it on the blog today. So delicious and easy, I love making this for breakfast on the weekend when I have a little more time.
Ingredients
- 1 large banana frozen ( I freeze mine chopped up)
- 2 tbsp of vanilla protein (this is optional)
- 1/4 cup of almond milk
- 1 or 2 medjool dates
- 1/2 tsp of sea salt flakes
- 1/4 cup of ice (optional)
Method
Blend all together until smooth and serve in a bowl.
Top with you favorites. I have used goji berries, pepitas, flaked coconut and toasted coconut with a drizzle of honey or maple syrup if you prefer.
If you love a healthy breakfast, then you might like to try my mocha overnight oats. I posted the recipe on instagram here.
What do you have for breakfast?
Let me know if you give any of these a try?
