I have teamed up with Salt&Pepper for a bloggers bake off. Three of my other favourite bloggers have joined into play a bloggers baking war and today I share one of my favourite recipes, self saucing chocolate puddings.
It’s a delicious, goohey, chocolately delicious dessert that is simple to make and quick to bake.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup of cocoa + extra for dusting
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup caster sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- cooking oil spray
- 1/2 cup plain flour
- 1 tbsp icing mixture for dusting
- 125g butter melted
Method
- Preheat the oven to 200C
- Lightly spray a 12 hole cupcake pan.
- Mix the melted butter, cocoa and sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time.
- Gently fold in the flour until just combined.
- Pour the mixture into the 12 hole muffin tin.
- Bake for 10 minutes so that the centre are still soft.
Set aside for 5 minutes before gently removing from the muffin tin.
Sift icing sugar and cocoa over the top for serving. Serve warm for a delicious dessert with whipped cream and strawberries.
