Breakfast puddings in a jar are a healthy way to start the day. I have had so many questions regarding these from an Instagram post the other day that I thought I would share this recipe again.
Now I am no nutritionist or health expert but I am pretty sure the ingredients in these jars are healthy and I know they keep you full for a couple of hours.
In each jar put;
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 tablespoon of organic coconut
- 2 tsp goji berries
- 1 1/2 tablespoons of chia seeds (white or black or both)
- 1 teaspoon pepitas
- 1 /3 tub of yogurt
Give all these ingredients a good stir then add;
- 1 tablespoon of blueberries or your choice of fruit ( strawberries, banana etc)
- Fill the jar to the top with almond milk ( or you can use soy, normal milk or coconut milk)
There are no rules and there are so many variations. Just add what you like really. Let them soak over night and in the morning you have a delicious breakfast. You can also add a drizzle of maple syrup for a bit of sweetness.
Inspired to create these again from The KJ Collective blog, you can read Kelly’s post here.
My original post on the breakfast jars is here.
Enjoy.
