When The Reject Shop asked me if I’d like to create a budget bedroom using their products, of course I jumped on board. Who doesn’t love a bargain and best of all an on trend bargain for all you savvy shoppers out there? Armed with a $100 gift voucher off to the shops I went. The challenge was to create a stylish, on trend makeover for my bedroom using products from The Reject Shop.
Well I was pleasantly surprised, (its been awhile since I went into The Reject Shop). I found the homewares isle and started shopping. There were lots of lovely homewares to choose from. I loved the wire bowl in rose gold for $5.00.
The Reject Shop had lots of stylish products including this dipped ceramic canister for $6.00 it also has a bamboo lid. I thought it would make a lovely vase. The marble trinket jar was only $9.00 which is right on trend at the moment. The prints were $12.00 and came framed, such a bargain and there were lots of other patterns to choose from.
When styling a bedroom I always think about layering textures and pattern. The grey faux sheep skin rug was only $25.00 and adds interest to the bed. I am so in love with faux fur at the moment and this one came in pink and white too.
I love adding candles to my bedroom side tables as this adds a bit of luxe, especially in the gold. All these were available at The Reject Shop. The small round wire basket with the white lining will be great to stow away the cushions at night and was only $12.00. There were many other size and shapes too.
The Reject shop have an assortment of plush throws like the grey Aztec throw shown here on my bed. Cable knit throws cross design throws are also available and are right in fashion for this season.
The white sheets, quilt cover and pillow cases are also from The Reject Shop. I also added an Urban cushion in faux suede ($10.00) for a bit of texture and to break up all the pattern.
I love the monochrome look I have achieved for the budget bedroom makeover. As we are coming into Winter, it’s nice to layer up the bed with faux furs and plush throws which are all affordable and on trend at The Reject Shop.
